A message for the new Eclipse director.

There’s a new director attached to Eclipse. David Slade has taken the reins on the third film in the Twilight series, due in theatres in June 2010. Twilight author Stephanie Meyer says David is “a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer to this franchise.” Again – and we’re saying this again ‘cuz it’s very important – there is more to think about here than just visionary filmmaking. David, you must understand that this is Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz we’re talking about here. We want lots of fighting, lots of drama, lots of sweat, lots of athletic stunts (but for anything dangerous, there should be stunt doubles, obvs), lots of shirtless scenes. It’s really not too much to ask for.
