Swizz Beatz & Alicia Keys: The Matching Couple

Swizz Beatz and his girlfriend woman Alicia Keys made their first public appearance as hunny bunny’s at Gotham Magazines Annual Gala last night in New York, which Alicia hosted, both rocking Christian Louboutin kicks:
Maybe the reason for the matching footwear is due in large part to Swizz Beatz new deal with iconic French-designer Christian Louboutin. For those of you out of the loop, Swizz Beatz partnered with Louboutin some time last year to create “a” sneaker (does this mean he will only do one?) to be released this year. Pictures also surfaced recently of two separate sneakers:
Between the two sneakers that he’s shown publicly, I’m liking what I see! No further details have been released though. Mizter Beatz isn’t the first rapper/producer to collaborate with a high-end fashion designer to debut a line of sneakers, Kanye West’s epic collaboration with Louis Vuitton had the sneakers flying off the shelves (who says Black don’t sell?) and DJ Mark Ronson teamed up with Gucci to release a sneaker as well. I just hope to God this whole sneaker-collaboration thing doesn’t become like the celebrity clothing line or perfume venture: over crowded and unnecessary! Please, rappers, don’t play this one out!
As soon as I get more details of the collaboration, I will let you know! I am excited about this
