After five months, Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have broken up. Reps for both confirmed the parting of ways, adding that they “remain friends.”

First spotted together in Monte Carlo at the Cannes Film Festival, the couple embarked on a whirlwind, super-luxe summer love-fest spanning the globe.

During their time together, the Gossip Girl actress, 24, and Inception star, 36, were surprisingly open about their romance and seen frequently in public.

The pair’s recent split is sure to come as a surprise to some DiCaprio pals, one of whom told Us Weekly that they’d “never seen him like this with a girl.”

They spent much of the summer at DiCaprio’s L.A. home, where Lively “spent the whole time baking. Leo’s never dated a girl who can cook. He’s smitten!”

After going strong all summer, the duo bonded with one another’s parents. Echoed another insider later this fall: “I bet they get engaged in six months.”

Apparently it wasn’t meant to be, though. While sad for both, we wish Leo and Blake the best … and have little doubt they’ll find someone new if they want.

Diddy claims he “backslid and regressed” when he went on a tirade the other night, shouting racial and homophobic slurs at a clubgoer in Atlanta.

The rap mogul is begging for forgiveness on Twitter for the outburst, which got so bad T.I. had to intervene and tell his boy to calm the heck down.

He threw ice at some guy, threatened to fight him and called him “n**ga” and a “f**got” all for drinking a rival brand of vodka. Seriously.

In his apology today, Diddy writes:

“I’m sorry for the ignorant way I repesented [SIC] myself … I have backslid and regressed. Forgive me for my ignorance. Pray for me pls.”

“I know better and I am better. I have a responibility [SIC] that I promise I will live up to. And I’m more dissapointed [SIC] in myself than you know.”

“I will humble myself and learn.”

The man on the receiving end, Ricky Parker, says he feels “humiliated and disrespected” and can’t believe this entire fiasco erupted because he was drinking Grey Goose and NOT Ciroc vodka, which Diddy is a spokesperson for.

Ricki Lake once again finds herself in first place on Dancing With the Stars.

The talk show personality and former Hairspray star earned the season’s highest score yet for her rumba last night, posting three nines and a 27 in all.

That edged out J.R. Martinez and Chynna Phillips, who scored 26 apiece.

Lake said the dance symbolized finding love again (with fiance Christian Evans) after a divorce, and the judges rewarded her routine with Derek Hough.

On yesterday’s installment of The View, co-host Whoopi Goldberg raised the issue of Republican Presidential candidate Rick Perry using a hunting camp whose named formerly had the N word in it. When Barbara Walters repeated the name of the camp (admitting it was “very hard” for her to even utter), Sherri Shepherd stepped in and objected:

“I didn’t like the way you said it. I don’t know if it’s a semantics thing, but it’s something that goes through my body.”

Chynna Phillips took us on a trip down memory lane last night.

With week three of Dancing With the Stars’ fall season dedicated to a defining year in each contestant’s life, Chynna dedicated her performance to 1990, the year she scored a mammoth pop music hit with Wilson Phillips’ “Hold On.”

Chynna didn’t move us quite as much as the story of J.R. Martinez (how could anyone), but watching her dance to her own song was pretty fun, and her moves were good enough to land her in a tie with J.R., one point behind Ricki Lake.

Kellie Pickler, a former finalist on the Fox singing competition, will guest star on the October 18 episode of this CW drama as Sally, the country-singing cousin of Austin, a new character played by Justin Deeley. “Everyone was so welcoming,” Pickler told People of the shoot. “I enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone and I’d love to do it again, but at the end of the day, I want to be on the radio.”

After the mogul and Ciroc Vodka spokesman threatened to get violent with a man in the crowd drinking a rival brand (seriously) at the BET Hip Hop Awards after-party.

Things almost got out of hand at Compound, until T.I. stepped in:

It is true that Brooke’s patient admissions forms were submitted to websites such as TMZ last spring, though that celebrity gossip outlet did not publish the documents.

Mueller is suing for undisclosed damages because she believes her privacy was violated.

When Hank Williams Jr. stopped by Fox & Friends this morning to discuss politics (absurd in itself), few could have imagined the views that the country music singer and longtime voice of Monday Night Football espouses.

Williams described this year’s “Golf Summit” between President Barack Obama and Speaker of the House John Boehner as “One of the biggest political mistakes ever.” Sadly, that was Hank’s high water mark for intelligence:

To the Fox News panel’s credit, they were clearly dumbstruck, turned off and unsure of how to respond to such an outrageous comment in a live interview.

Still, you have to question the wisdom of having this guy on your show in the first place. You can’t find an intelligent conservative voice to talk politics?

In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, Thomas Jane says he was once homeless and earned money as a man-on-man prostitute.

“When I was a kid out here in L.A., I was homeless. I didn’t have any money and I was living in my car,” the actor says. “I wasn’t averse to going down to Santa Monica Boulevard and letting a guy buy me a sandwich. Know what I mean?”

The Hung star, who been married twice, adds that “you’re a lot more open to experimentation as a young man. And for me, being a young artist and broke in Los Angeles, I was exploring my sexual identity.”

Does he have any regrets? Nope.

Amanda Knox learned her fate as the verdict in her high-profile appeal of a murder conviction was read aloud in an Italian courtroom this evening.

It was overturned. The jury found her not guilty of murder, but guilty of defamation. She was ordered to be set free immediately after her acquittal.

Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, also cleared today, were sentenced to 25 and 26 years in prison following their 2009 convictions.

The 24-year-old student tearfully denied brutally killing roommate Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy, 2007, pleading for freedom earlier Monday.

“I am not what they say I am. I did not kill. I did not rape. I did not steal,” Amanda Knox said this morning, her voice trembling with emotion.

It was the most important speech of her life. It showed, and it worked.

“People always ask me, ‘who is Amanda Knox?’ I am the same person that I was four years ago, exactly the same person,” she continued.

“The only thing that now separates me from four years ago is my suffering.”

Knox and her family, present in Perugia for the verdict, have always claimed her imprisonment was nothing but a monumental judicial mistake.

Prosecutors, in turn, have depicted Knox as a manipulative liar, and were seeking to increase her sentence to life in prison. Instead, she’s free.

The jury was made up of the presiding judge, a side judge and six jurors, five of them women, and had several options regarding deliberations.

They could acquit both defendants and set them free, which they did. They also could have upheld the conviction, but changed the sentence.

Over the course of the trial, the defendants’ appeal had significantly improved, mainly because a court-ordered independent review cast serious doubts over the main DNA evidence linking the two to the crime.

Prosecutors maintain that Knox’s DNA was found on the handle of a kitchen knife thought to have killed Kercher, whose DNA was on the blade.

They also said Sollecito’s DNA was on the clasp of Kercher’s bra as part of a mix of evidence that included the murder victim’s genetic profile.

But the independent review – ordered at the request of the defense, which had always disputed those findings – reached a different conclusion.

The two experts found that police conducting the investigation had made glaring errors in evidence-collecting and that below-standard testing and possible contamination raised doubts over the attribution of DNA traces.

In the end, a jury agreed there was not sufficient evidence to uphold Knox’s conviction. What do you think? Did they make the right call?

The actress and husband Lee Kirk welcomed their first son into the world on September 24, it was announced today, a boy named Weston Lee.

Well, the halftime show anyway. Madonna will headline the extravaganza, according to SB Nation (dot) com. The 53-year-old Material Girl continues the NFL’s recent tradition of recruiting musical legends to perform between halves.

Over the last 10 years, the Super Bowl halftime show has featured such artists as Prince, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen.

The move toward securing older artists came in response to the outcry over the notorious Janet Jackson-Justin Timberlake “wardrobe malfunction” of 2004.

The Black Eyed Peas halftime show this year was kind of terrible, which didn’t do younger artists any favors either. Anyway, Madonna will surely bring her A-game.

A cautionary note to halftime show producers, though: Do not, under any circumstances, adorn the stage with hydrangeas. Super Bowl XLVI is set for February 5.

Reports already suggest that Ashton Kutcher cheated on Demi Moore last month with at least one woman in San Diego, rumored to be 23-year old Sara Leal.

But new sources now say that Leal was only one of several women inside the actor’s Hardrock Hotel room that evening. According to party promoter Gavin Naumoff, some South African yacht worker named Jacques Du Toit told him that his girlfriend, Alexis, was was up in a suite with Kutcher.

“Alexis told him Ashton’s room number and when he got there, a bodyguard was at the door who said it was a private party,” Naumoff said to The Daily Mail. “Jacques explained he was the boyfriend of one of the girls and was let in.

“He found Ashton in a hot tub on the balcony with Alexis, Sara, a girl called Katie and another girl called Marta. They were all naked. Ashton invited Jacques to join them in the tub.”

Kutcher was reportedly in a great mood, calling for other guests to bring him and his women vodka.

“Sara is telling everyone 100 percent that she and Ashton had sex,” says Naumoff. “Jacques and Alexis are two of my best friends and Sara is a good friend. If she says she slept with him then I think she’s telling the truth.”

It’s difficult to know what to believe, but this much is certain: until Ashton stops limiting his responses to 140 characters or fewer, he isn’t a very reliable source.

The performance of The Immortal – the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show – kicked off in Montreal, Quebec last night, and it’s drawing rave reviews.

With several members of the Jackson family among the 13,000 (!) screaming fans, the Cirque performers did their thing to MJ’s greatest hits catalog.

If you enjoy Cirque and/or Michael Jackson’s music, the stunt filled show looks like it meshes the acrobatics and songs effortlessly and entertainingly.

The Immortal tour is set to roll through 47 cities before setting up shop in Vegas. It’s nice to see some positive MJ news unrelated to Conrad Murray.

About a year before she started dating Chaz Bono, Jennifer Ella had an incident that she would just as soon forget. She was arrested and booked on a charge of “battery of an ex-spouse/fiancee/person with a dating relationship.”

Often referred to as “simple domestic battery,” the charge means that the perpetrator or attacker can be arrested “even if only the slightest force is used in the incident … any unwanted physical touching will suffice.”

The outcome of Jennifer’s case is unknown, as only the victim and the victim’s family are privy to it. Most likely, it was dropped or settled out of court.

Jennifer Ella may have hinted at her alleged aggression in the documentary Becoming Chaz when she admitted: “When things get tough, I start to drink.”

Happily, Jennifer said in May that she’s 14 months sober. She’ll be cheering on Chaz Bono as he competes in week three of Dancing With the Stars tonight.

She claims to be the perfect homemaker, but a new book calls into question Martha Stewart as a perfect mother. And the author of this book? Martha’s daughter, Alexis.

The 46-year old slams her famous parent in “Whateverland: Learning to Live Here,” writing of her childhood: “If I didn’t do something perfectly, I had to do it again. I grew up with a glue gun pointed at my head.”

Labeling the domestic television goddess as “not interesting in being kid-friendly,” Alexis goes into detail about Martha’s Christmas present philosophy (“”She used to make me wrap my own presents…”) and hypocritical shoe removal demands.

“My mother has a sign on all of her doors to take your shoes off,” Alexis writes. “For god’s sake! My mother’s dogs p–s and s–t on her rugs and she’s telling people to take their shoes off?”

Alexis also crosses the TMI line with this entry:

Still, despite this randomly published complaints, Alexis actually dedicates the memoir to her mother and says there are no hard feelings. Martha apparently agrees, saying of her child:

Lauren Conrad, whose fashion line for Kohl’s and her own Paper Crown line are both going strong these days, says the trick to designing great clothes is to do so selfishly. Her motto for creating each season’s signature look?

Four years after she was arrested on suspicion of having killed her roommate in Italy, American Amanda Knox pleaded for a jury to overturn the conviction.

“People always ask who is Amanda Knox? I am the same person I was four years ago. But I have lost a friend. I have lost my faith in Italian police,” she said.

“I am paying with my life for something I have not done. Four years ago I didn’t know what suffering was,” she added, delivering her statement in Italian.

“I did not kill. I did not rape. I did not steal. I was not there.”

In her second trial, Knox and co-defendant Raffaele Sollecito are fighting to be acquitted of the murder of Meredith Kercher. They were convicted in 2009.

Prosecutors, meanwhile, have called for their sentences – of 26 and 25 years, respectively – to be increased to life. Two judges and six jurors will decide.

Amanda Knox’s appeal has focused largely on DNA evidence found on a knife and on a bra clasp belonging to the victim. They argue it’s not enough.

Closing arguments was Knox called “Lucifer-like, demonic and Satanic,” but her defense says that like Jessica Rabbit, she’s not bad, just “drawn that way.”

If last week’s Sister Wives season premiere taught us anything, it’s that life in a polygamist household entails a different spin on some of life’s rites of passage.

Case in point from last night’s episode: “The Talk.”

As in the talk about s-e-x. How does a man with four wives and 17 kids (or something, we lost count) broach this topic? What values does Kody Brown instill?

In the living room of one of the family’s new Nevada homes, the Brown Bomber took charge, telling the kids he doesn’t want them to date in high school.

That did not exactly go over well.

“You should not be sexual until you’ve graduated high school ever,” he said, adding that he’d “prefer” they wait until marriage to become sexually active.

“I don’t really want to talk about my daughters marrying … or dating,” Brown says later. Understandable, given that he’s married four people’s daughters.

Meanwhile, Kody, Janelle and Christine are all looking for new jobs and decided to look into real estate. Wouldn’t you know it, their realtor needs help.

They need to wait six weeks to get their licenses, but the trio helped set up some open houses and appeared to enjoy it at least. We wish them luck.

The most significant development last night was when Kody Brown and his fourth wife, Robyn, dealt with a scary possibility regarding her pregnancy.

Kody and Robyn were facing a miscarriage head-on.

The pair announced they were expecting last week, but Robyn said she’d had some “symptoms” and wanted to head to the doctor as a precaution.

Kody and Robyn were “emotional devastated” thinking of the unthinkable, but after a tense few moments, the little one’s heartbeat came through.

Filled with relief, Robyn started crying. Kody texted a worried Meri to let her know the good news. All is right in Casa Brown, at least for one week.

Prepare to chicken dance, Arrested Development: arguably the funniest, most intelligent sitcom in the history of television is likely heading back to the air.

At a New Yorker Festival event yesterday, series creator Mitch Hurwitz said he hopes to “do a limited-run series into the movie,” where the show would come back for approximately 9-10 episodes, with each focusing on just one character and updating fans on his/her life over the five years since the series went off the air.

These episodes would then lead into the wildly-anticipated Arrested Development film.

Nothing is official yet, but Hurwitz said he hopes to bring the show back next fall.

Sunday, the 92-year-old made his 1,097th and last appearance on 60 Minutes. “I wish I could do this forever,” he said, admitting he’s dreaded his retirement.

The long-running CBS news program, which has featured Andy Rooney since its 1978 debut, also conducted a long interview with the writer/commentator.

Poignantly, but with his vintage curmudgeonly humor, he closed by thanking his fans. However, “If you do see me in a restaurant, please, just let me eat my dinner.”

Tupac Shakur. He was killed 15 years ago, but we’re still talking about him.

That’s a sign that you’ve left your mark on pop culture, although we never expected we’d be discussing a new sex tape of the late rapper that surfaced.

In the five-minute video, Tupac is receiving oral sex from some girl … while rapping and dancing with groupies in a living room during a house party.

This sex tape story is ridiculous, and yet unsurprising.

Tupac walks into a room, pants down to his ankles, shirtless, head shaved, wearing some big ass chains. He pulls one of the women toward him.

She begins performing oral sex. As she does her thing, an unreleased song of Tupac’s is playing. He sings along and he dances, wiggling his hips.

As the woman services Tupac, who’s holding a cocktail in one hand and a blunt in another, Money B from Digital Underground walks over to him.

Tupac puts his cocktail arm around his boy Money B, continues singing and dancing … and the woman never stops doing her thing down there.

As the tape ends it appears “he’s ready to begin sexual intercourse” (use your imagination there) with the lucky lady. But we do not get to see that.

It’s unclear if there’s another 2Pac sex tape continuing the action.

The person in possession of this tape is trying to release it. We obviously remember him as a great talent, but who knew ‘Pac was a multi-tasker.

Once again, an animal has proven more popular than Brad Pitt at the box office.

A week after The Lion King in 3D finished with the most money earned, Dolphin Tale did the same, beating back a strong challenge from Pitt, Jonah Hill and Moneyball.

Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson, the children of the late Michael Jackson, have decided to instill a self-imposed boycott of Dr. Conrad Murray’s trial.

The physician, accused of involuntary manslaughter, faces a long prison term if convicted. The trial, which began last week, is expected to last weeks.

Sources say that for the kids, especially Prince and Paris, rehashing the details of how Michael died is just too hard, and they’re trying to tune it out.

Katherine Jackson, Michael’s mother and the kids’ guardian, is said to be relieved that kids aren’t more curious and desperate to pay close attention.

After prosecutor David Walgren displayed the body of Michael Jackson in the opening statement of the Dr. Conrad Murray trial, the stakes were high.

Katherine was unhappy and disturbed the shocking pic was displayed, and the 911 call placed after MJ was found unresponsive was also unnerving.

At this point it’s unlikely that the kids will be called as witnesses against Murray, as the prosecution feels it has plenty of others to prove its case.

The children certainly do not wish to be involved whatsoever. However, if asked to take the stand, Prince Michael will testify without complaint.

The Bachelor star Ben Flajnik was seen filming the upcoming season of the hit ABC show this weekend. He and his bikini-clad babes were skiing. In California.

Shooting is currently underway for the 16th season and Ben was spotted in his home city (shirtless, obviously) skiing down one of SF’s famous hills.

A week after spending their sixth wedding anniversary apart, and days after a tabloid story exploded the Internet with rumors of their demise, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were spotted at the same place on Friday.

Described as “tense,” but each donning his/her wedding ring, the stars attended a private meeting at a Los Angeles-area Kaballah center, sources confirm to Us Weekly.

The couple has received “counseling from Kabbalah over the summer to try to fix their marriage,” another insider claimed last week, leading many to believe Moore and Kutcher might still try to work this out, despite reports that the latter gave it to Sara Leal in a San Diego Hotel on September 23.

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed got married Saturday, making it official after 28 YEARS of dating and two children together. Better late than never!

The KISS bassist, 62, and the actress, 54, exchanged vows in evening ceremony outside on the crystal lawn at the posh Beverly Hills Hotel yesterday.

The guests cheered loudly when Simmons said “I do” to his partner.

Tweed walked down the aisle in an ivory Priscilla of Boston gown, one of three dresses she chose for the occasion, and carried a bouquet of ivory roses.

The couple exchanged vows they wrote themselves in front of 400 guests including Hugh Hefner, Bill Maher and, of course, the other KISS members.

Also in attendance were Shannon Tweed and Gene Simmons’ two children Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19, who served as the maid of honor for her mother.

Their first dance was quite fitting for a couple who have been together nearly 30 years: “At Last” by Etta James, performed by daughter Sophie.

In case you missed it, Michaele Salahi ran off with Neal Schon, the guitarist from Journey, because he’s her soulmate and her husband was too controlling.

Tareq says he chose the house over boobs.

You may recall that Russell was deported from Japan back in May while trying to visit with his wife, Katy Perry, who was touring the Pacific nation.

Taxi and Grease star Jeff Conaway, who passed away at age 60 last May, died of a major internal infection. Coroners released his official cause of death Friday.

A toxicology test was not conducted on the body of the actor, who publicly struggled with addiction, because he was hospitalized for weeks before his death.

His blood would have tested clean in any case. Jeff Conaway was taken off life support on May 27 after being hospitalized with pneumonia and sepsis.

The troubled Conaway fell into a coma in May and was eventually allowed to pass away by his loved ones when hope for his recovery became non-existent.

He worked with Dr. Drew Pinsky, who called him “a terribly complex case with chronic pain, opiate addiction and severe childhood trauma” on Celebrity Rehab.

Elizabeth Hurley is set to walk down the aisle again.

The gorgeous actress, who can be seen every Monday night these days on Gossip Girl, is engaged to Australia Shane Warne, who she started seeing soon after splitting from husband Arun Nayar in December.

“Thanks for all your congratulations,” Hurley Tweeted this afternoon, confirming a rumor first published by The Daily Mirror.

Warne popped the most important question of all on Friday, sources tell E! News, following a dinner at Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews, Scotland. As for the rock?

Jacqueline Laurita may be exiting The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but she’s intent on landing a few blows against a castmate before she departs.

In response to a rumor this week that Melissa Gorga formerly worked as a stripper, Laurita has taken to Twitter and implied that Gorga’s sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, is behind the chatter.

There’s a romance brewing between a Dancing With the Stars pro and former queen of the Hills. Derek Hough and Lauren Conrad are totally dating!

“They’ve been on a few dates together,” a source says.

The two raised many an eyebrow at Jason Scoppa’s weekly live show at the Sayers Club in Hollywood: “They were pretty cozy. Definitely playful and flirty.”

“They were close to each other,” the source explained of LC and DH. “He had his arm around her waist. They were dancing and also holding hands.”

When they left, celebrity news photographers snapped away, but the two didn’t stand too close together. A security guy also tried to block the shots.

Lauren Conrad most recently ended a long relationship with actor Kyle Howard in June, while Hough was linked to former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

On Friday, Judge Belvin Perry ordered the release of the infamous video of Casey Anthony’s reaction to the news of Caylee Anthony’s body being discovered.

It had been sealed throughout the trial because another judge had ruled it to be too inflammatory for a jury. But with the trail over, Perry unsealed the tape.

“There is no reasonable expectation of privacy in jail,” he ruled, and with the 25-year-old acquitted of murder, ordered the Casey Anthony jail video released.

On the day Caylee’s remains were found, Casey sat in jail infirmary, hunched over and rocking back and forth as news of the discovery played on TV.

Casey appears to double over, her hands in her lap, and then appears to breathe heavily. Anthony began hyperventilating, before asking for a sedative.

To many, the significance of the video and Casey Anthony‘s reaction is that the remains had not yet been identified as those of her missing 2-year-old.

Not long after Justin Bieber announced plans for a Christmas album, THG offered a number of title suggestions. Sadly, he took none of them, choosing instead the less-than-original title of… “Under the Mistletoe.”

Bieber also revealed via Twitter that the CD will drop November 1 and said “this is not your normal Christmas album.” Hmmm… we know it will feature Usher, but to what else is Justin referring? Ponder that question as you enjoy your first look at the album’s cover below:

The custody battle between Camille and Kelsey Grammer continues to grow uglier than Snooki after a night at the club.

Here is the latest:

The ex-couple faced off in court today because Kelsey wanted to spend six days with his children in Los Angeles. Camille did not want this to happen because she feared her former husband would not take the kids to their usual activities, such as dancing, sports and, according to TMZ, therapy.

A family court judge ruled in the actor’s favor… but added that he can only be in charge of the children if they DO attend said activities. Kelsey’s response? Okay, I’ll go… if Camille does not!

Seriously, these people are less mature than their offspring.

Camille, however, is a regular attendee at these events and, sources say, has every intention of keeping her schedule. Stay tuned to see how this gets resolved! If you can stomach it.

A paramedic who rushed to save Michael Jackson’s life on June 25, 2009, said that if Dr. Conrad Murray called 911 sooner, EMTs might have had a chance.

Richard Senneff said that on that day, Murray told him he called 911 the second he realized MJ was in distress – a claim others have disputed at length.

Yesterday, bodyguard Alberto Alvarez testified that the Michael Jackson 911 call – which he placed – came well after Murray discovered Jackson unresponsive.

According to the police, the delay was at least 20 minutes.

The case against Jackson’s doctor is looking pretty strong at the moment.

Senneff said that if Dr. Murray called earlier, there was a good chance EMT’s could have restarted Michael Jackson’s heart. But alas, we’ll never know now.

Charged with involuntary manslaughter, Murray’s defense theory is going to have to be pretty compelling to overcome the state’s evidence at this point.

Other key points of the paramedic’s testimony Friday:

• The 911 call came in at 12:22 p.m. Seneff arrived four minutes later.
• When he walked into the room, he saw Murray, Jackson and Alvarez.
• Michael Jackson was wearing pajamas and seemed underweight.
• MJ was being moved to the floor by a “frantic” Dr. Conrad Murray.
• Seneff noticed an IV stand with an IV bag hanging on it. He asked Murray what MJ’s underlying condition was three times before Murray answered.
• Murray responded that there was no underlying health condition. Given the IV stand in the room and other equipment, this made no sense.

Demi Lovato has been through a lot. The singer hasn’t been shy about discussing these obstacles, as she hopes her experience will help other young girls struggling with low self-esteem.

In a new interview, meanwhile, Lovato goes out of her way to acknowledge a pair of famous friends who have helped her navigate through the tough times:

“I feel like there are some people that you’re friends with that talk to you on Twitter or you text,” she tell Billboard, “but the people that are really there for me are the people that were there for me when I went into treatment. The people that were calling me while I was in there were Kim Kardashian and Selena Gomez. Those two girls, they meant the world to me. They still do.”

Up next professionally for Lovato, she’ll unleash”Who’s That Boy” as the second single off “Unbroken.” It will follow “Skyscraper,” which shot to number-10 on the Hot 100 in July.

“I’ve been on such a journey over the past year that it just feels awesome to be able to release music that I’ve worked really hard on, and now that it’s done well [on the chart] it feels even better,” Demi told the magazine.

After co-designing her Emmys dress with dressmaker Daniella Pearl, the 41-year-old – who combed through “9 million dresses with taffeta or shiny bows” – decided to create a clothing line for women with similar body types.

“Trying to find stuff that’s still fashion-forward in my size is damn near impossible,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s either for like a 98-year-old woman or a 14-year-old hooker, and there is nothing in the middle.”

It wasn’t until McCarthy became a mom to daughters Vivian, 4, and Georgette, 1, that she stopped feeling insecure about her physical appearance.

“I just try not to give too much energy to it,” she says. “At 20, I would have been like: ‘Don’t they like me? Was it my hair?’ At 41, I think the things that define me, I hope, are a lot more than those kinds of petty things.”

Now that’s something all of us could probably learn from.

Clueless actress Stacey is officially divorced from her husband Emmanuel Xuereb.

A judge finally granted her divorce from the loser she claims beat her up on multiple occasions. Stacey Dash filed for divorce in January 2010, the same day she filed for a restraining order against Emmanuel.

Stacey claimed that Xuereb had hit her in the face, head and body during their two-plus years of marriage, but she was afraid to report it to police.

In any case, the marriage – which was Dash’s third – is officially over now.

Moore is “sad, hurt and embarrassed” by the scandal, a source close to the actress tells Entertainment Tonight, adding that Demi and Ashton “had been receiving counseling from Kabbalah over the summer to try to fix their marriage.”

Alas, it failed and they are reportedly now living apart.

Still no word from Sara Leal, though, Kutcher’s alleged mistress who reports indicated was in the process of hiring an attorney and seeking out the highest offer she could find to tell her story.

A witness tells Radar Online that this Real Housewife’s husband may be cheating on her because he had an allegedly cozy meal with another woman at a T.G.I. Friday’s on Tuesday night in Clifton, New Jersey.

Joe and this rumored mistress were “in a booth,” the onlooker claims and “were drinking martinis and when the woman finished hers she took a sip out of Joe’s glass, too. They looked like they were having a good time together and laughing with each other.”

This isn’t the first time Joe has been accused of possessing a wandering eye and/or other body parts. A report last year said the guy likes strippers.

The other woman appeared to be in her late 20s or early 30s, the witness says, adding that things got REALLY steamy later in the night:

After a waiter brought the pair wet naps, the lady opened hers and “wiped Joe’s hands off with hers. It was really intimate to see her touching his hands like that.”

We can imagine! It’s getting hot in here just thinking about this. Sorry, Teresa, but it’s time to hire a divorce lawyer.

A pair of much-anticipated films hit theaters today. What did we think of 50/50 and What’s Your Number? Both comedies succeed, albeit in different ways.

Actor Seth Rogen and writer Will Reiser lived the experience portrayed in 50/50, at once a comedy about cancer (that actually works) and a poignant story.

With Joseph Gordon-Levitt portraying Resier’s cancer patient and Rogen as his BFF, the pair combine to bring audiences an astounding character study.

Far less original but still entertaining is What’s Your Number?

That’s not a question we’re asking, the punctuation mark is part of the title of this film starring Anna Faris and based on the book 20 Times a Lady.

What’s Your Number? follows a Bostonian named Ally in her quest to reexamine her exes based on the belief – thanks to a magazine article – that women who have slept with 20+ men have trouble finding a husband. Ally’s number is 19.

The plot is predictable but enjoyable thanks to Faris, who insights a laugh with merely a look, and co-star Chris Evans, with whom she enjoys fun chemistry.

Brennin Hunt is a 26-year old model who said on The X Factor last night that he’s “the total package.” Not exactly the best way to endear oneself to an audience.

But then Hunt stopped talking and starting singing, delivering a strong performance on an original track, always a bold step for any contestant to take. Simon Cowell was certainly impressed, saying he could turn Brennin into a major star.

Among other performers we adored last night: Jazzlyn Little and Tora Woloshin.

Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael, screamed out for her father as he died, according to chilling testimony in the Conrad Murray manslaughter trial.

“Paris screamed out, ‘Daddy!’” Alberto Alvarez said. “She was crying.”

Alvarez, a bodyguard/security guard for the King of Pop, was the voice on the Michael Jackson 911 call played yesterday, the third day of the trial.

Paris, now 13, endeared herself to millions with her touching tribute to Michael at his memorial service. Having seen what she did, it’s all the more moving.

While Dr. Conrad Murray was giving chest compressions on an unresponsive Jackson, he shouted to Alvarez, “Don’t let them see their dad like this.”

Alvarez says he turned to Prince and Paris, who were crying, and said, “‘Kids, don’t worry, we’ll take care of it. Everything’s going to be okay.’”

“Then I asked Dr. Murray what happened. He said, ‘He had a bad reaction.’”

Alvarez, whose job it was to go places before Jackson and make sure everything was safe and to the singer’s liking, said in court that he noticed that his boss was lying with his palms up, eyes slightly open and mouth agape.

There was medical equipment everywhere, including a condom catheter that had drained urine. Alvarez says Murray then shifted his focus from giving CPR and asked Alvarez to assist him in packing up medical bottles and equipment.

Alvarez’s testimony may cast new doubts on Murray’s defense theory – that the star killed himself accidentally with a Propofol injection when the physician left the room – due to recollections of Murray’s behavior and the timeline of events.

Unlike Jazzlyn Little, Tora Woloshin does not possess a superstar’s name.

But this 21-year old college student does have the look and the talent to go very far on The X Factor, as proven last night. Woloshin took to the stage and instantly engaged the crowd with her version of “I Want You Back,” earning praise from the judges that included L.A. Reid saying she “turned the place out.”

Simon Cowell was even more effusive and to the point: “I absolutely love you, Tora. Something about you, the minute you walked out. That’s why this show is called ‘The X Factor.’ It’s more than just the voice, it’s something else.”

Adam Lambert loves his fashion.

So much so that the former American Idol finalist has taken a controversial stance on John Galliano, the former chief designer by House of Dior who declared in February that he loves Hitler and was found guilty of hate speech in a French courtroom earlier this month.

The singer took to Twitter yesterday and referred to Galliano as a “BRILLIANT designer,” adding that he “screwed up and said offensive things.When can we forgive him and move on? LOVE his clothes. And I’m a born Jew!”

When a follower questioned Adam’s logic – just because someone has a skill you appreciate means he or she can say or do whatever he or she pleases? – Lambert replied: not at all… But just cuz he’s (was) an asshole, that means I can’t wear his gorgeous clothes? #policalcorrectnessquestions

Sarah Palin says she didn’t mean to insult Herm Cain … Herb Cain … Herman Cain … aww shucks, whatever his name is in an interview on Fox News this week.

When she called the presidential candidate “the flavor of the week,” Palin was criticized by supporters of the Georgia businessman and Republicans in general.

Well, Palin took the time to clarify that, saying she wasn’t suggesting that Cain was about to fade, but merely commenting on her arch-nemesis, the press:

“What the media tends to do is propel this flavor of the week … I am not saying that Herman Cain is the flavor of the week. I’m one of his biggest fans and I would never dismiss him or speak negatively about him.”

“I’m saying the media always has to gin up some controversy and intrigue so viewers tune in and there’s a lot of competition in the media world in this quasi-reality show it seems that’s being created in the GOP primary.”

“It’s just the nature of the beast right now and I think anybody would hard-pressed to argue against what I observed,” Palin explained.

That’s actually a fair point. But it’s still funny because:

1. Sarah Palin has actually been on a reality show.
2. She profits from 24/7 media coverage, exploiting it to remain in the spotlight long after she lost any relevance and despite having no plans to run for office.

Jack Osbourne has a major reason to be happy today, and her name is Lisa Stelly.

Sources confirm to Us Weekly that the former reality star and the aspiring actress are engaged!

Osbourne, 25, has grown into a respected director. He was behind the camera for father Ozzy’s music video for the track “Life Won’t Wait” in 2010.

Michael Jackson’s security guard Alberto Alvarez testified in Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial today, recalling that fateful day in 2009.

Alvarez was the one who called 911 after Jackson’s vital signs fell. The 911 call is included below. But his testimony delved into much more than that.

Murray asked Alberto Alvarez to remove several vials of Propofol before he called an ambulance on June 25, 2009, according to the witness’ tesitmony.

Alvarez claims he quickly arrived at the scene and saw Murray performing one-handed chest compressions on Michael Jackson, who was still in the bed.

According to Alvarez, Murray immediately asked him to pack up several vials and an IV bag – one that contained a vial with a “milky white substance.”

Murray THEN asked Alvarez to call 911, at which point the dispatcher ordered him to move the singer from the bed to the floor in order to perform CPR.

According to Alvarez, paramedics arrived soon after. He was grilled on the timeline of these key events by Murray’s lawyer, but he remained steadfast.

Murray’s defense hinges on the theory that Michael Jackson killed himself with a lethal dose of Propofol while the physician was (briefly) out of the room.

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, LeAnn Rimes spoke about the controversy she generated when she began her infamous affair with Eddie Cibrian.

“It could’ve been handled a lot better,” she says of her conduct.

“Maybe we both didn’t have the tools at the time to do it properly,” she says. “But I’ve learned a lot. Sometimes you just want to scream. But you don’t.”

“We’ve learned to let it go and laugh at it at the end of the day.”

They did get married in the end, so … there’s that.

The two were, of course, married to other people when they began dating – Rimes to Dean Sheremet and Cibrian to Brandi Glanville. But the past is the past.

LeAnn Rimes’ weight also came up on the broadcast, with the singer calling fans’ criticism of her slender frame disrespectful and likening it to bullying.

Courteney Cox may have come out to support David Arquette on Dancing with the Stars, but the actor made it clear in an interview today with Howard Stern: He’s moving on.

Saying he and the wife from who he’s separated are in “the friend zone,” Arquette confirmed rumors during the chat that he’s dating Christina McLarty, a reporter for Entertainment Tonight and the quasi ex-wife of Joe Francis.

“She’s adorable,” he told Stern. “I’m not one to run around with different girls. I like someone that makes me feel good and that I can make feel good.”

Kelly Clarkson may be a miss who thinks of herself as independent.

And she may not hook up and she may be singing about a guy who is a “know it all” these days. But the singer wants to make one thing clear: she’s straight.

“People keep saying I’m gay, and I’m not,” the original American Idol tells E! News. “I’m pretty sure I’ve never made out with a girl. It’s just not helping me because I’m straight. No boy wants to hit on me because I make mean songs about them, and they think I’m gay.”

Prince William and Duchess Catherine (Kate Middleton) came together to open the new Oak Centre for Children and Young People at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

The new facility is located in Sutton, Surrey, England.

Upon their arrival, the royally cute twosome was greeted by many spectators before they met with staff, key donors and fundraisers. “There was excitement amongst the children before the royal arrival,” a source says.

The royal pair actually arrived separately to the dedication.

Because William, 29, was “on-call Wednesday night at RAF Valley and had two call outs,” he didn’t get a chance to sleep before the Oak Centre opening.

“He only finished at 10 a.m. Thursday and quickly got changed before he was flown over straight from the base to Surrey,” where he met Kate, also 29.

Kate, who arrived with palace staff having stayed in London, “gently patted him on the back” when she heard about his sleepless night. How sweet.

For an alleged princess in turmoil, she sure looks happy here!

Holly did it to protect herself and those who appear in her Las Vegas production, Peepshow, Hef’s ex tells People:

The couple is “ecstatic” with their new addition, says his rep.

The Austin Powers actor and his wife, who tied the knot last fall, confirmed their wedding in March and pregnancy in May. She co-owns a Big Apple cafe and began dating Myers for more than four years before they got engaged.

Little Josie-Brooklyn Duggar was born prematurely and is prone to illness, but sources say the demands of their TLC schedule put her more at risk:

“Josie has had serious breathing issues since her premature birth. While the Duggars are a loving family who adore their children, they are defi­nitely risking little Josie’s life by traveling all over the world,” says an insider.

“It seems like they are putting the show before their child’s health. Jim Bob and Michelle need to put their chil­dren before media attention and money.”

The good news for Elisabetta Canalis? Ex-boyfriend George Clooney made a rare public statement about a relationship and came to the model’s defense.

In response to the latest issue of Us Weekly, which claims Canalis sent the Oscar winner a series of angry text messages after she learned he was dating Stacey Keibler, Clooney has released a statement that reads:

The story “was completely fabricated in order to sell magazines. I never comment on my personal life unless it affects others…and this lie affects others. Since I would be the only actual witness, I ask you to correct your story immediately, but that would assume you cared at all about telling the truth.”

T.I. is a free man at last.

The rapper departed an Atlanta halfway house just after midnight. Wisely, he made a quiet exit and did not roll out on a tricked out tour bus with cameras.

All told, Clifford Harris spent 10 months in federal prison for a probation violation after he and Tiny Cottle were arrested in L.A. last year for drug charges.

The drug charges were later dismissed, but the damage was done as far as his probation – he was released early for his firearms sentence – was concerned.

T.I. was released August 31, only to be pulled back into federal custody right away after heading to the halfway house on a tour bus with TV producers.

This time, he simply got into a chauffeur-driven SUV and left. Congrats, T.I. Hope you and Tiny have a nice reunion … and that it’s not too short-lived.

LeAnn Rimes has spent much of this year sparring with her weight critics, be they her own Twitter followers, celebrity gossip sites or even fellow stars.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, the singer says she feels like a victim of bullies – in this case the media – in the wake of the constant speculation.

“I’ve kind of gotten over it when it comes to myself,” she said, criticizing those who mock her because it’s insulting to people with real eating disorders.

“These are diseases. Using them as name calling, it’s almost bullying. I feel for people are actually going through these diseases. I’m not one of them.”

Asked by Ellen if she’s “not anorexic in any way or bulimic at all,” Rimes said, “No, I am not but I do feel like the press … they’ve been very irresponsible.”

“Calling a lot of people fat or anorexic or bulimic or whatever it may be, it just seems like bullying now,” Rimes said, “instead of really taking these diseases seriously that a lot of people are going through.”

“That’s good that you got to clear that up,” DeGeneres said.

Her husband, Eddie Cibrian, defended Rimes earlier this week, calling his spouse a workout fiend with a very healthy appetite, and the rumors revolving around her body irritate him as “she eats more than I do sometimes!”

The X Factor manufactured some drama around 19-year old contestant Tiah Tolliver last night.

After telling the judges she hopes to make it “platinum, double platinum and diamond,” this full-lipped hopeful broke into a cover of “Impossible.” Simon loved it. He said he had a “real feeling” about Tolliver.

But the other panelists didn’t agree, causing Cowell to label them as “insane” and leading to another cover by Tiah. This time, of course, she received approval and acceptance into the next round. Was this supposed debate drummed up ahead of time? Of course. But that doesn’t change the fact that Tiah Tolliver will be sticking around.

Drew Ryniewicz made Justin Bieber proud last night.

Well, correction: the 14-year old from Arizona made the man who signed Justin Bieber proud.

After learning that Ryniewicz is a huge Belieber (quick, do you know Justin’s favorite colors? Drew does.), this young hopeful took to The X Factor stage, hoping to impress a panel of judges that includes L.A. Reid, who warned the contestant that he might be extra harsh because he’s so close to the song she covered, “Baby.”

Milton Bradley, a former outfielder who played for seven teams over 12 seasons and was known as much for his volatile temper as for his career OBP of .364, was arrested yesterday.

As detailed by TMZ, Bradley’s wife called 911 around 2 p.m. from Los Angeles and said her husband was chasing her around with a baseball bat. The 33-year old slugger – who was arrested in January for a separate domestic violence act – was subsequently taken into custody and booked for assault with a deadly weapon.

He was released from jail later that night on $30,000 bail.

In 2007, Bradley tore his ACL during an argument with an umpire. He missed the rest of the season.

In day two of the Dr. Conrad Murray manslaughter trial, Michael Jackson’s personal assistant Michael Amir Williams took the stand to describe panicked voicemail Murray left on Williams’ phone the day Jackson died.

The key points from Williams’ testimony:

• Jackson’s final rehearsal, on June 24, 2009, was “amazing.”
• The following day, Williams received a panicked message from Murray at 12:13 p.m. saying, “call me right away.” Murray told Williams that MJ had some sort of “bad reaction” and to “get somebody here immediately.”
• Williams arrived to see MJ on a gurney and Murray “frantic.”
• After learning of Michael’s death, Murray asked Williams to take him to Jackson’s home to get “some cream Michael wouldn’t want the world to know about.”
• Williams and MJ’s director of security decided not to do this.
• It was “normal” to have oxygen tanks in MJ’s house.

It’s unclear whether his testimony will help or hurt Murray’s controversial defense theory that Michael Jackson killed himself with a lethal dose of Propofol.

Yesterday, the prosecution also played this recording, allegedly made by Jackson, a month before he passed away, to illustrate what Dr. Conrad Murray knew about the state of the patient he was medicating improperly:

The most annoying celebrity on the planet is late, folks. For her next red carpet appearance? No.

“She was supposed to get her period and didn’t,” a source close to Kim Kardashian (VERY close to Kim Kardashian, apparently) tells OK! Weekly.

Of course, nowhere on this cover does it actually say Kim is pregnant, just that it’s “baby time,” a child is “on the way” and that the reality star is “showing already.” If Kardashian were actually knocked up, the Internet would have exploded hours ago.

“Kim always thought she’d have several kids by age 30, so in her mind she’s behind schedule,” an insider tells the tabloid. “Kim’s been going through all the K names. She even has a baby-name book and looks up the meaning of each one.”

Considering the family into which this kid will be born, permit us a suggestion: klusterfuck. Kim, you can call us for the meaning of that one.

Snooki really needs to eat something besides Deena’s face.

The Jersey Shore star has shed several dress sizes recently, barely resembling her Season 1 self (save for the orange spray tan and skanky antics, obvi).

The vertically and intellectually challenged Jersey girl swears by Zantrex-3 Fat Burner (about as healthy as QuickTrim) and has been working out.

She has dropped over 15 pounds from her petite 4’ 9” frame, which has left her looking like a different, though still ridiculously dressed person.

Apparently it’s been a well-received change. She Tweeted Tuesday:

“LOL so some girl comes up to me n goes ‘you look like one of those girls from the jersey shows, but you look better.’ Uhm thanks? Lmao,”

The pair allegedly met at a nightclub, with a friend of the mistress telling Radar Online that Leal was due to meet with an attorney last night and is “freaking out” over the situation.

“It was definitely a long time coming, but they’re finally done for good,” an insider told Star. “Ashton was a serial cheater, and Demi just couldn’t take it anymore. She didn’t deserve to live that way. It’s a painful time for Demi.”

A new casting notice is floating out there that seeks “a few FABULOUS WOMEN to join our cast as they live their glamorous lives in Northern New Jersey,” while phone calls have allegedly been placed to “Housewife worthy women.”

So, who might be on the way out? Teresa Giudice is rumored to be featured on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice, though this doesn’t mean she can’t continue to film the RHONJ.

The season’s second Dancing with the Stars results show dealt viewers somewhat of a surprise when it was revealed that Elisabetta Canalis was ousted.

George Clooney’s ex isn’t complaining or making excuses, though.

“Maybe dance isn’t my thing. I’m not going to lie,” the Italian actress told People backstage after being eliminated Tuesday night. “This show was challenging for me because I had to learn how to ballroom dance.”

“I’ve never done it before. I hope to have learned something.”

Canalis’ partner Val Chmerkovskiy stood tall by his prótége.

“There are a challenges for everybody,” he said, chalking the loss up to her unfamiliarity. “There were huge challenges for her. We’re a proud nation.”

“We’re a welcoming nation, but [Americans] have our idols and our own fan base. This show is about people and fans. We can’t compete with that.”

“Yesterday, we did [well],” he said. “But unfortunately they gave our score to five other couples. That killed all of our chances [of staying on the show].”
